Dr. Olennikov comes from Washington state where she first became interested in optometry during her annual visits to her local optometrist! She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at the esteemed Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR, graduating with honors. Upon graduating, Dr. Olennikov completed a one-year residency in ocular disease at Virginia Eye Consultants in Virginia Beach, VA where she trained under top specialists in the field. Since then, she has worked in multiple optometric modalities allowing her to build her experience in fitting soft and hard contact lenses, as well as treating ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and dry eye.
Dr. Olennikov enjoys spending time getting to know her patients to ensure not only clearer vision but also optimal comfort of their eyes. Dr. Olennikov has a special interest in treating dry eye and would love to discuss treatment options with you! For fun, Dr. Olennikov enjoys spending time with her significant other doing anything outdoor related including hiking, kayaking and snow-boarding!
